The Evergreen Gauntlet is no ordinary artifact. It’s a living legacy worn by only the most revered members of the Sorcerers' Guild. Forged from enchanted wood still pulsing with ancient life, the gauntlet coils and shifts with the grace of a breathing creature, its bark surface etched with ever-changing runes.
Ancient arcane crystals are nestled deep within its core. These relics act as conduits, channeling elemental power through the wearer’s fingertips.
With the Evergreen Gauntlet, a sorcerer becomes a force of nature, able to summon towering trees at will, bind foes in thorny roots, or stir the very soul of the earth to rise in their defense. The land itself listens… and obeys.
The Evergreen Gauntlet was started in Maya, where I blocked out the base shape before moving into ZBrush to sculpt the organic details and layered forms. I baked the high-poly details in Substance Painter and textured the piece there as well, using a mix of hand-painted elements and custom materials. The final model was rendered in Unreal Engine to showcase it in a game-ready environment.
